Ten Day Amritsar Da Swaad Food Festival At Courtyard Marriott

Bhopal, 9 July 2020: A 10 day long culinary journey of flavourful and authentic Amritsari food – Amritsar Da Swad- will begin from Friday at Courtyard by Marriott, Bhopal. The Festival will be held at Hotel’s multi cuisine restaurant MoMo Cafe from 12.30 to 9 pm. During the festival city’s diners will relish wholesome flavour of the culinary landscape of Amritsar. The food lovers may also get these dishes home delivered.

Rakesh Upadhyay, General Manager, Courtyard by Marriott, Bhopal informed this in a press release here on Thursday. He said “Amritsari Cuisine it is one of the most distinct and popular Indian cuisines and comes from the region of Punjab situated partially in India and Pakistan. During the festival our chefs will be preparing arrays of scrumptious and exotic vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes in traditional culinary style, particularly the tandoori”.

In a city that has lent its name to iconic dishes, from Amritsari kulchas to Amritsari fish, and Amritsari lassi , we have selected few jewels from the large array of delicacies like Bhutte aur chhole ke seekh, Amritsari paneer tikka, Achari bhatti ke khumb, Multani paneer pakoda, Puran Singh damalai soya chaap, Amritsari bhatti da murg, Malai da kukkad, Baluchi mutton ke tikke, Churchur de naan, Amritsari kulchey chholey, Lawrence road ki aloo puri, Raan – e- baloch, Patiala paneer khatta pyaz, Rara kadhai khumb, Amritsari aloowadiyan, Punjabi besankenimboo, Pind da rajmah, Tariwalimachhli, Pakhtunimurg masala and many more.

At the end of main course one can enjoy desserts like Atte Gond ka halwa, jalebi and kulfaa.
