Wipro partners with NASSCOM to unveil Future Skills platform

Wipro Limited (NYSE: WIT, BSE: 507685, NSE: WIPRO), a leading global information technology, consulting and business process services company has partnered with the National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) to launch the Future Skills platform for 10,000 students from over 20 engineering colleges in India. Audi India concludes Ninth edition of the Audi National Twin Cup

Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, held the ninth edition of the Audi Twin Cup with participation from 37 Audi Service Touchpoints across India. A total of 162 teams comprising of 486 Audi dealer technicians and service advisors competed for the coveted championship titles. The top 6 teams made it to the finals held at the Training Academy in Pune, where teams from Audi Rajkot/ Audi Vadodara bagged the top spot in the Twin category. Audi Mangalore bagged the top spot in the Technology category and Audi Coimbatore topped the Service category.  The team from India will compete alongside 65 teams from 34 countries at the World Finals that will be held in July 2020. A grand Tech Park wide Fitness event was launched by Columbia Asia Hospital Sarjapur Road at Embassy Tech Village recently.  ‘The ETV Fitness Challenge’  is a month-long fitness challenge to encourage employees from MNC’s and various corporates in the tech park to focus on their fitness regime, burn extra kilos and lose weight. The Laryngectomee Society of Apollo Hospitals, celebrated its 20 th  anniversary with Para-Badminton World Champion, Ms Manasi Joshi, as the Chief Guest, on Saturday at the Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills. Radio Mirchi RJ Shezzi, conducted the show and Dr Umanath Nayak, Consultant Head & Neck Cancer Surgeon, Apollo Cancer Hospital & Founder President, Laryngectomee Society of Apollo Hospitals, was also present on the occasion. The Laryngectomee Society of Apollo Hospitals is a voluntary self-help rehabilitation group of cancer survivors who have undergone surgery for the removal of their larynx (voice box) as a treatment for advanced cancer of the throat. On the occasion, RJ Shezzi conducted a live chat-show with the laryngectomees. They shared the ordeal they undergo, the challenges they face in their daily lives and how they overcome them. Mankind Pharma, a Rs 5,600 crore pharmaceutical company, has launched a Dydrogesterone-containing drug, for treatment of pregnancy-related complications. Mankind Pharma becomes the first Indian and second global company to develop the drug and make it available at an affordable price. Progesterone is a natural hormone involved in the menstrual cycle, implantation, and in successful maintenance of pregnancy. Any deficiency of progesterone during different stages of the reproductive process can cause infertility, menstrual disorders and miscarriage. Dydrogesterone has a similar molecular structure to natural progesterone but it has enhanced bioavailability and fewer side-effects. It took nine years for a team of 400 scientists at Mankind Research Centre to develop this drug, which is the only retroprogesterone available commercially.
