Kings XI Punjab Blown Away By Jonny Bairstow-David Warner Show

SunRisers Hyderabad fed off a 160-run opening stand between skipper David Warner and Jonny Bairstow and then Rashid Khan’s immaculate lines with the ball as they beat Kings XI Punjab by 69 runs in Dubai on Thursday. Bairstow narrowly missed out on a second Indian Premier League (IPL) century, scoring 97 off just 55 balls and combined with Warner, who smashed 52 off 40, to score the bulk of the runs as SRH finished on 201/6. In reply the fabled top-two of Punjab, captain KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal, didn’t fire and despite Nicholas Pooran’s breezy 77 off 37 they were dismissed for 132 in the 17 th over. Rahul (11) and Agarwal (9) were both dismissed inside the first seven overs as Punjab found themselves 58/3 and behind the asking rate. However, Pooran tried to take the attack to the Hyderabad bowlers and added 47 for the fourth wicket with Glenn Maxwell (7). 28 of these runs came off Abdul Samad as Pooran smashed the leg spinner for four sixes and a four in one over as Punjab looked f

Nitish Kumar's Party, BJP Reach 50:50 Seat Deal For Bihar Polls: Sources

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal United (JDU) and the BJP have reached a seat-sharing agreement in principle – with an almost even split – days before the October-November state election and the announcement is expected soon, sources told NDTV on Saturday. The JDU will get 122 of the 243 seats while the BJP will have 121, according to the arrangement, sources said. While Mr Kumar’s party will accommodate Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha within its quota, the BJP will give seats to Ram Vilas Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party from its share if they remain in the alliance, sources added. Bihar’s ruling alliance has been rocked by trouble because of a prolonged feud between Nitish Kumar and Mr Paswan’s son Chirag Paswan who served an ultimatum last week, demanding an immediate announcement of seats. Bihar will vote on October 28, November 3 and 7 for a new government and the results will be announced on November 10. The country’s biggest election in the coronavirus crisis

The much-awaited Toyota Urban Cruiser subcompact SUV is all set to go on sale in India on September 23, 2020. It will be the first sub-4 metre SUV from the Japanese automaker in India, but as we already know, it’s a re-badged version of Maruti Suzuki’s Vitara Brezza, which means in terms of design and build, you know what to expect. Also, Toyota has already revealed a fair bit about the key features and variants of the SUV, so, the only thing that is left to be announced are the prices. Now, the Toyota’ Urban Cruiser will come in three key variants – Mid, High and Premium, and all three trims will come in both manual and automatic options. And compared to the Vitara Brezza, these variants will be same as the VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+ trims. So, if Toyota goes with the same pricing strategy it used for the Glanza, which we expect it will, then the new Urban Cruiser will be priced just marginally less than the Vitara Brezza. Currently, the aforementioned three variants of the Vitara Brezza are
