Board Infinity, an edtech start-up announced that the company has clocked a revenue growth of 400% in FY 2020 over FY 2019. PITCH8 – Online Pitching Competition

Following the success of StartupManthan and StartupMilaap, RaiseMyStartup came up with their very first online Live startup pitching competition (PITCH8) to help founders raise money during this pandemic.   PITCH8 is an online fundraising event, that was held on 9th May 2020.   This initiative designed only for B2B SaaS Startups where they got a chance to pitch their innovative ideas/startup to Investors virtually across India.   PITCH8 – Online Pitching Competition   More than 60 startups have applied for the PITCH8. All the applications were evaluated by the investors panel. Out of 60, only 10 curated B2B SaaS-based startups got chance to pitch and woo the investors with their innovative ideas.    There was 8 investment funds who participated included Bhavish Sood, Modular Capital ; Saurabh Lahoti, Pentathlon Ventures ; Rohit Goyal, Windrose Capital ; Charles Owen, EV2 Ventures ; Akshay Kothari, Fluid Ventures ; Neeraj Tyagi, Venture Catalysts ; Vineet Khurana, Chandi

In an attempt to ensure that there is no hiatus in student education during the ongoing lockdown, Govt of India’s All India Council of Technical Education – NEAT announced partnership with Chennai based Edtech startup Skill-Lync . The global startup Skill-Lync is first-of-its-kind engineering technical education platform that provides job leading courses for Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering students in India and across the world.   During COVID19 outbreak, under this partnership, Skill-Lync has opened up its Rs. 50,000. worth Mechanical Engineers Essentials program  to students from AICTE. Start-up India along with the Department of Animal Husbandry announced the Animal Husbandry Start-up Grand challenge on Sep 2019. The challenge, launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in Mathura  on 11th Sep last year,  saw India’s most promising dairy start-ups participating in the challenge. A total of 157 entries were received and were scrutinized by Start-up India experts, AH Department experts and shortlisted finalists then presented to a jury of Senior Officials.   Co-founder Aashna Singh, Founder Param Singh – MoooFarm   The winners were congratulated by the Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy, Shri Giriraj Singh through a Video Conferencing Ceremony on Friday, May 8 th 2020 evening.   MoS (Fisheries & AHD) Shri Sanjeev Kumar Balyan and Secretary (AHD) Shri Atul Chaturvedi were also present on the occasion.   The Challenge categorized the animal husbandry ecosystem issues into 6 categories.
